Interview
The interview process was clearly structured and well communicated from the outset, consisting of three stages: an initial CV review, a skills-based interview, and a final partner interview. During the skills stage, I was given a live task and asked to walk through how I would approach and solve the problem, which provided a practical opportunity to demonstrate my analytical thinking and problem-solving approach. The final partner interview focused more on my experience, motivations, and how I approach my work and professional relationships. The process moved efficiently, with the first two stages proactively scheduled on consecutive days to allow for quick progression if successful. When scheduling the final interview, the team was flexible and accommodating around my personal circumstances, allowing me time to move house before completing the final stage. Overall, the process was clear, efficient, and considerate, creating a positive candidate experience.

Question 1
The interview questions focused on both delivery capability and personal motivation. In the skills-based interview, I was asked how I would approach delivering a piece of technology for a retail bank. I walked through my structured approach to delivery, including understanding the business problem, identifying stakeholders, defining requirements, and ensuring alignment between business and technology teams. The partner interview focused more on personal drivers and reputation, including what I want to be known for professionally, what I am most proud of in my career, and what motivates me in my work. The discussion explored how I approach collaboration, delivery, and the impact I aim to have within teams and organisations.
It started with a 30 minutes session with the HR, then a 1hr technical interview and finally a 45 minutes face 2 face interview at the Capco office.
Overall I had a really positive experience. The whole process took about 1 month and the technical interview was focused on what actually matters for the role, with no trick questions or curveballs. I especially enjoyed the face-to-face interview because it didn't feel like a typical interview. It was more like a relaxed technical and behavioural conversation you'd have with a colleague, which made it easy to be myself.

Interview
If you have something to talk about and share, they've got the time to listen and feedback and dig into it. It became clear within the first few minutes that in addition to my technical responses, there was a evaluation on how I responded. Behavioral and technical parts inevitably get wrapped up together; that was my positive experience with everyone I interviewed with at CAPCO.
