I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Capco (Plano, TX) in Sep 2012
Interview
The company is looking for people but getting on can be difficult just because they drag their feet. I had to call them a couple of times to get my interview scheduled. I think it is just because everyone is really busy. My interview was in person but since there offices are only in New York, Chicago and California that your interview may only be by phone. Fresh out of college can be required to be on-site in one of the three offices. Experienced staff will work remotely. Expect travel, every other week.
It started with a 30 minutes session with the HR, then a 1hr technical interview and finally a 45 minutes face 2 face interview at the Capco office.
Overall I had a really positive experience. The whole process took about 1 month and the technical interview was focused on what actually matters for the role, with no trick questions or curveballs. I especially enjoyed the face-to-face interview because it didn't feel like a typical interview. It was more like a relaxed technical and behavioural conversation you'd have with a colleague, which made it easy to be myself.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capco in Mar 2026

Interview
If you have something to talk about and share, they've got the time to listen and feedback and dig into it. It became clear within the first few minutes that in addition to my technical responses, there was a evaluation on how I responded. Behavioral and technical parts inevitably get wrapped up together; that was my positive experience with everyone I interviewed with at CAPCO.
