The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capital Group (New York, NY) in Feb 2016
Interview
I applied online and then had two thirty minute phone interviews. After that, I got invited to finals rounds which were in New York City. That consisted of four hours in total, lunch and three forty five minute interviews with two interviewers each. The questions were more behavioral and nothing was very technical.

Question 1
What would your friends say drives them crazy about you?
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Capital Group (Berkeley, CA) in Feb 2019
Interview
I got a message from a recruiter to apply to TAP via Handshake, and so I did. After some weeks, I got an invitation to schedule an on-campus interview. There was a pre-interview night, which was a formal info-session where they delivered a presentation and opened the floor for questions. The on-campus interview was 30 minutes, 1 on 1. They asked the typical Why TAP? Why Capital Group? but most of the interview was focused on getting to know you as a person. They were friendly and open to people of all academic backgrounds. They heavily emphasized how competitive the program is. They were only looking for 6-8 people for the summer. They were interviewing about 15 other people from my school, and had already been to 5 schools before mine. I didn't make it to the final round of interviews, but it would have been at their offices in San Francisco. They were quick to get back to candidates. I was rejected the day after the interview.

Question 1
What is something you hoped we would ask you, but we didn't have the chance to?
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Capital Group
Interview
I applied through my university career portal and was notified that I had made the first round interview approximately one week before the interview date. The night before, CG held an information session and answered questions about the program and company.
The actual interview took 30 minutes and was with one interviewer, a manager of the TAP program. It was a relaxed interview with only behavioral questions.
I have yet to hear about the second round.
I applied through college or university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Capital Group (Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2017
Interview
The entire process was 100% behavioral. I was offered an on-campus first-round interview within a week of submitting my application. There was an informal Q&A the night before the interviews. Actual first-round was 30 minutes long, and entirely conversational. I talked very little about why Capital Group and instead just chatted about my extracurriculars/interests. Final round interview was in LA and I was flown out by the company. I had three 40-minute interviews back-to-back and lunch with current Associates at the company. The interview was split between asking me why Capital Group and walking through my resume. Again, nothing technical, just behavioral. The interviewers were very down-to-earth and friendly. The environment was not competitive or stressful: there was a great rapport between everybody. The super day went from 9am-1pm. They got back to me within the week with a final offer. It was a really fun and enjoyable experience.
