I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (London, England) in Feb 2017
Interview
Phone interview, then onsite meeting 4 people which I felt is a little OTT. I enjoyed meeting 3/4, one was quite pushy and rude and also misrepresented his personal hiring metrics to me which in hindsight is funny. Seems dated in the way that they do things, they also expect you to travel one day a week.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One
Interview
In-depth interview process. Applied, was phone screened, then had an interview via phone with the hiring manager; next came a work sample; after that, then a full day of 4+ back to back interviews.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One in Sep 2025
Interview
4 round process based of technical and behavioural expertise. The process is streamlined and candidates are shared prep documents to help them prepare for the interview rounds. This gives the visibility on what to expect in each round and the evaluation parameters.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Difficult Situation and the way you influenced stakeholders
Very straight forward, one initial interview but the last round is a 4 part interview that asks some difficult questions. They were very friendly but some of the questions were just hard.
