It takes a truly cold organization to seek you out for a job, sell you on working for the company, and let you know how excited the hiring manager is to talk to you, then let you know four days before Christmas that you actually won’t be moving forward because you didn’t pass a personality test. Don’t bother asking what you could have done differently or what made you a bad fit; the assessment just gives your recruiter a yes or no. It makes absolutely no sense to let some arbitrary test override qualifications and personal connections. They’ll tell you to apply again in six months, but what’s the point? It’ll be the same test all over again, and you’ll still be you. I’m sure this is the right company for some people, but if you value being seen as a whole person rather than a set of factors that some algorithm spits out, look elsewhere.
