I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (Los Angeles, CA) in Sep 2019
Interview
Upon arrival to the auditorium where interviews take place, you will check in at the front, give them your portfolio, and give them the unit you want to interview for. They take your portfolio and put it in a stack for the unit you want, then you proceed to wait in the auditorium with other candidates. Each unit has a table (tables are set up around the room) and call candidates one by one. You can see people interviewing but you can't really hear since the room can get a little loud.
My experience was negative only because the 2 unit managers interviewing me were not interested at all. One proceeded to be on her phone throughout my entire interview while the other looked around the room while I answered her questions. I was their very first interview of the day so I cannot imagine they were tired. I understand if they lack interest but it was very unprofessional.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (Beverly Hills, CA) in Sep 2025
