      I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Cengage (Singapore) in Feb 2017

      Interview

      Got a call more than a month after application and was told the interview was going to be in 2 days. Was then given a name/person to look for when I arrive. Got to the reception, receptionist didn't know who that name/person was and I had to explain to her I was there for an interview. So she said she'll call the HR. The HR person didn't bother to come meet at the reception but instead told the receptionist to hand me a piece of paper which I noticed was a sort of written test. I was then put into the room beside the reception and told I had to get that test done in 30 mins. Wasn't told there was going to be a test but luckily I brought a pen with me (unfortunately, no correction tape). I rushed through the test which consisted of a couple of vaguely-worded paragraphs of instructions and paragraphs of text, and by the end of 30 mins, suddenly the interviewers walked right in and asked if the test was done. Even if I wasn't, they already took their seats and so it seemed a protest for time to check would not be of use. I passed the paper along and had the interview with two senior staff. Interview questions weren't too difficult but they wanted very specific details and elaboration of resume. Overall, interview was alright. No surprises or anything particularly challenging. Was told to wait for reply (2 weeks).

      Interview

      Cengage Learning take a long time over their interview process. They are very thorough, which adds confidence as it is certain that they know the person is right for the role. The interview was a two person panel, where most of the questions were about my experiences, and the position itself was hardly touched upon (if at all). I came out not knowing anything new about the position.
