I applied to a position with Chadwell, not only because I felt I had all the requirements to successfully do my best job for the company, but more important for the company’s principles.
After reviewing the comments placed on Glassdoor by former and present employees, describing the company’s values, the extraordinary way they expressed themselves about the company, adding to this the always present reply to the posts, by one of the owners; this made me very excited to the possibility of joining a company, which share the same ethics I have.
I had a phone interview, which I felt it went well. I explicitly asked the HR person, to please let me know the outcome of my application one way or the other. It has been three weeks without any information; I have sent two follow up messages, asking where I was in the process to the person that conducted the interview, without any reply.
My comment is intended for the Chadwell to keep their integrity, not letting the actions or inactions of one employee affect the great image the company has. Just for the simple act of courtesy, a response to my messages would have been in order. With the time already gone by, and the total silence, I am very disappointed that I was not selected for the job (I had high expectations to go the extra mile for this company), but not getting at least a note saying “thank you but, not thank you” it makes me feel worse.
Chadweell seems to be a great company to be part of. Having a nice talk with HR would not be a bad idea.
