I had received a call from the HR department in April about a position that I had applied to in February. At this point I could not even remember what the position was. So HR set up an in person interview with management, and the interview seemed to go well, but the state of the facility was disatrous. It seemed so unorganized and there were a lot of empty offices. They had told me that they were in the process of moving offices and lab spaces, so I reasoned that the disorganization was due to moving.
In any case, I was asked what my current and expected salaries were. The senior HR has commented that my current salary was on the high end of what they offer, but she did not specify what that would be.
As far as flexibility of work schedule goes, I was told by the management that they are extremely flexible as long as you make up your time ( as an hourly paid employee).
I did not hear anything from the company until the beginning of June, but that they still have not made a decision yet because of changes in the department.
Overall the interview process was not very difficult, but the time span in which you hear back is very long. It also seems like they are looking for people to work a lot of overtime and on weekends, which could be a deterent in taking a job there.
