I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Chase (Houston, TX) in Nov 2022
Interview
First time I applied to a few positions, I received an email from the recruiter to schedule the over the phone interview. I confirmed the times I was available and then didn’t hear back from her till the following week when she randomly called me wanting to do the phone interview right there and then. I let her know I had another interview scheduled but I would give her a call back after that was over, she confirmed yet did not answer my call later on. She never called back and the next day I received an email I was no longer selected to move forward with the position. Second time I had an interview I was not able to make it and called the recruiter and branch, never got a call back I figured I would no longer be considered since I did not show up. A month later I received an email from a branch manager for an interview, showed up interview went great. I received an email from someone scheduling another interview a few days later with the market director at a Starbucks. I thought this was odd, the email did not have any signature (no contact number, title name, etc.) and I had never met up at a Starbucks for any of the other bank interviews I had. I drove 35 minutes, arrived 15min early. I had no idea who I was meeting up, who to call so I waited 10 minutes before I left. The next day I received an email letting me know I was no longer considered for the position. I emailed the branch manager to make sure the email was not a scam and he confirmed it was not and the market director did show up, we just happen to miss each other. I received another email from the market director’s assistant stating this was her “second attempt” at scheduling an interview with me, provided me with only one time slot and this time her email had her work signature with contact information. I emailed back I would not be attending, I had moved forward with another offer. I got an automated response stating she was not in the office ? The whole process was so unorganized; unprofessional recruiters and overall just an odd way of doing things.

Question 1
What were you most proud of in your professional and or personal life?
The interview process was very good and asks a lot of questions about sales experience or banking experience. If you’re licensed that is a plus. Recruiter called, then met with hiring manager and another branch manager. Total process took about 3-4 weeks

Question 1
Tell me about a time you went above and beyond for a client
Standard interview process. Met a few personnel & the manager, got a feel for how the branch interacted with one another. Professional, nothing out of the ordinary for a role of this type.
