Checkpoint Systems Associate Project Manager interview questions

Received first interview with their recruiter. Questions were general in nature and focused on comparing current skill set to their needs. The second interview was a week later with the hiring manager. This stage was very granular and focused on current project management responsibilities. The hiring manager was very positive and I had left with a good feeling and an understanding that I would be invited to a final interview at their corporate offices. After a week and a half of hearing nothing, I emailed the recruiter who politely informed me that they hired an internal candidate. The lesson I have learned here is that if you’re interviewing, even in a position that includes tasks you are already doing, keep your expectations in check if there are internal candidates that have applied. I was very disappointed.
