I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Chevron (Irvine, CA) in May 2013
Interview
I applied at multiple service stations, about 3 weeks later I got a call from manager of the location. Asked me a couple questions then asked me to come in for a interview. It was totally a informal interview (It felt like I was already hired). He told me to think about everything then give him a call. Called three days later & he sent me a offer letter via email. Then a week later I had to take a drug test (at a clinic), then i came in & met with another manager then had to fill out paper work & do a background check. Just found out I was cleared, I will be starting next week :-)

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Chevron (Kuala Lumpur) in Jul 2024
Interview
I recently completed an interview for the position of Customer Service Representative. The interview began with a short introduction and a warm welcome from the interviewer. I introduced myself by sharing my educational background and my previous experience working at Chevron Malaysia Limited under a 6-month contract in a similar role. The interviewer asked questions about how I handle customer inquiries, manage pressure, and deal with challenging situations. I explained how I communicate with customers clearly and professionally, how I stay calm when solving problems, and how I always aim to provide a good customer experience. I also highlighted my ability to manage customer data and maintain accuracy in record-keeping. Toward the end of the session, I was given the chance to ask questions about the role and the work environment. The interview ended positively, and I thanked the interviewer for the opportunity.

Question 1
What are your strengths to accept you as a customer service?
The interview was fairly easy, for me the manager and I had a lot in common so we ended up getting off topic but she was nice and made it feel more like talking to a friend than a real interview but still asked interview questions.
