I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chevron (Vancouver, WA) in Jun 2011
Interview
Just one interview. They ask basic questions, they want to see that you are a good fit for the customers and for the rest of the crew. Which means that you have to be positive, never speak ill of any previous employer or coworkers, show a desire to work hard and to help your team.

Question 1
There wasn't really a very difficult or unexpected question. Just make sure to remain positive, honest, and to keep your composure - don't get too nervous and start stutter. Remember - they are trying to look at you through the eyes both of a customer and of a coworker, so be sure to show your best in these roles.
Great process and great people to work with, highly recommend. The interview was smooth and the people were great help I would definitely work for them for the rest of my life and after
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Chevron (Kuala Lumpur) in Jul 2024
Interview
I recently completed an interview for the position of Customer Service Representative. The interview began with a short introduction and a warm welcome from the interviewer. I introduced myself by sharing my educational background and my previous experience working at Chevron Malaysia Limited under a 6-month contract in a similar role. The interviewer asked questions about how I handle customer inquiries, manage pressure, and deal with challenging situations. I explained how I communicate with customers clearly and professionally, how I stay calm when solving problems, and how I always aim to provide a good customer experience. I also highlighted my ability to manage customer data and maintain accuracy in record-keeping. Toward the end of the session, I was given the chance to ask questions about the role and the work environment. The interview ended positively, and I thanked the interviewer for the opportunity.

Question 1
What are your strengths to accept you as a customer service?
The interview was fairly easy, for me the manager and I had a lot in common so we ended up getting off topic but she was nice and made it feel more like talking to a friend than a real interview but still asked interview questions.
