I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chewy (Dania Beach, FL) in Aug 2016
Interview
Chewy is breaking numbers and sales records left and right and it was a bit intimidating to prepare for the interview. I was expecting and preparing for the negative types of personalities you would expect to see in some of the Silicon Valley types of environments but I received the opposite. I interviewed with Logan and he was very professional, down to earth and humbled which was pleasant. It was like we had known one another for a long time and didn’t even feel like an interview. Logan was very upfront and straight forward about everything which I appreciated. I felt like she would be a great mentor and someone I would enjoy working with. You can tell Logan embraces a lot of self-discipline to get where he is. Ultimately I lacked experience in what they were looking for and I wasn't the perfect fit. There were no negative experiences on my end and in my professional opinion I would recommend their interview process and working here. My phone interview with Logan was overall a great experience.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Chewy (Houston, TX) in Apr 2025
Interview
I applied for the High Volume Recruiter role and received an email from TA manager to schedule an interview. On the day of the interview, at the scheduled time, she texted me to say she needed to reschedule. While I was a bit frustrated, I remained understanding and responded that I would greatly appreciate being considered for whatever the next available business day and time she had open, as I was still very interested in the opportunity.
Unfortunately, I didn’t hear back from her until five business days later, when I received a generic email thanking me for my interest and informing me that they had decided to move forward with other candidates.
I don’t typically leave reviews, but this experience was frustrating and felt like a complete waste of my time. It’s disappointing and unprofessional how the process was handled. Chewy, please do better with your candidate experience—especially considering that Talent Acquisition is often a candidate’s first impression of the company.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Chewy in Feb 2024
Interview
It was a good process with a phone conversation with a recruiter and a couple zoom interviews with managers to end out the interviews. They were very informative and helpful.

Question 1
One things they asked was to give examples on how I put the customer first and went above and beyond for them.
Wow, so disappointing! I so thrilled to consider this opportunity considering I have been a customer of them for many years. It has probably been one of the worst experiences in my career life. The Recruiter was rude and demeaning to me. Minimized my hesitations and truly was not listening to me. I made it to offer but turned it down due pretty much to how I was treated by the recruiter. It was so disappointing as I could see myself there, but not about to advance if they tolerate this type of behavior. Based on other feedback here, I can see this has happened before.
