I was contacted by recruiter Erica Bassel for a phone interview. That process was very pleasant and lasted for for about 20 minutes. She asked me a lot of questions related to my experience and how it would lend to the position.
When it came to salary expectations, she researched after our interview and followed-up with me shortly after our interview. I was really impressed by that as few recruiters do this. While the hiring manager declined moving forward with my application, I was extremely pleased with my interaction with Erica.
I've read a lot of negative reviews from employees and applicants so I felt compelled to write this one. I think Erica represents the gold standard for professionalism and follow through for recruiters and HR teams and strongly feel you should ensure your department leaders and hiring managers are held accountable to the same standards.
