Started with a 45min phone conversation with the recruiter. Followed by 1hr on zoom with the medical director. Then I was prepped for a behavioral panel interview (“tell me about a time when”) with HR and a regional director. My interviewer was changed 15min prior to the second panel. Then I was asked to visit a hospital for a meet and greet where it felt like they weren’t even expecting me, interactions were brief and then I basically got ignored and let myself out. I was told I would hear about a decision shortly. Instead, I was then asked to work a relief shift at another location. I was fully onboarded with a lot of email, security, etc training. The hospital was short staffed and things were pretty disorganized. At least they offered pay for my time, but it then took almost a full month to get all their paperwork straightened out and payment received. Needless to say, after 6 weeks which involved 4 phone/computer interviews, 1 in person visit and a 10hr relief shift I was not offered the job and told “I was not flexible enough with change, which was expected with a new company endeavor”. I rolled with every punch they threw my way and then when asked for my experience and the issues I faced during the interview process I was then punished for my honest opinion. At least they sent me cookies twice for all the issues/bumps during the interview process?
