I went through three rounds of interviews at the Chick-Fil-A in Manning, SC , including a 1.5-hour group interview and a last-minute final interview, and the experience was completely unprofessional. The final interview did not feel like an interview it felt like I was being interrogated on trial. The interviewer repeatedly talked over me, questioned irrelevant personal choices, and even implied I had been involved in violence at a previous school — none of which had any relevance to Chick-fil-A’s work or culture. At one point, they referred to me as “people like you”, which was clearly racially biased they could have simply said “new hires” or “entry-level candidates.”
On top of that, pay was only mentioned after all three rounds of interviews, showing a total lack of transparency and respect for my time.
This behavior was racist, disrespectful, and exhausting. I do not recommend this location to anyone who expects to be treated with basic respect and human decency. This hiring process was a complete waste of my time.
