I interviewed for a Talent Director role that was actively posted, only to be told during the interview that they were not actually hiring for that position. This makes the posting itself feel misleading and a waste of candidates’ time.
It was also directly stated that the salary listed in the job posting was not accurate and would never be offered for roles below General Manager level. That raises serious concerns about why the compensation range is posted in the first place.
From what was communicated, it seems like higher-level roles (director/manager titles) are posted publicly but not actually being hired for. Instead, candidates are brought in and considered for Team Member positions at significantly lower wages.
Overall, this felt intentionally misleading and not transparent. It gives the impression that postings are used to attract applicants under false expectations rather than accurately representing available roles or pay.
Not worth the time unless expectations change and postings are made accurate and honest
