I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ChildCare Careers (Long Beach, CA)
Interview
Easy, as long as you have the minimum ECE units you're basically guaranteed to get hired. They asked what type of activities I would plan for different age groups based on developmental level. That was probably the hardest question they asked but even then it's hard to answer wrong. As long as you don't say, for example, running activities for infants you're guaranteed to give them an answer theyre looking for. As long as you have some sort of formal experience in childcare, you'll get the job.
The interview process was fairly similar. You submit your application and then they give you a phone call interview. Lastly, you go in person submit some documents and your availability. Finally, you will begin to get some requests for opportunities to work.
I interviewed at ChildCare Careers (Philadelphia, PA)
Interview
It was pretty easy and not that complex unlike some interviews that relate to the child care field. The interview I had was by phone call and I find that should be easy with most people.
