One of the best interview experiences I've had as an engineer. The process was extremely smooth; I received prompt replies & feedback from the hiring manager every step of the way, and everyone I met on the team was delightful. The process consisted of a phone screen, a take home code challenge, followed by an onsite interview that lasted several hours. The onsite interview had some whiteboard questions, along with a pair programming assignment. ChowNow's offices are also very nice, with cold brew on tap, a stocked fridge, and an upbeat ambiance. ChowNow was incredibly respectful of my time throughout the entire process, and even the whiteboarding assignment was enjoyable thanks to the interviewer's candor. Interviews felt more like a conversation rather than a performance, making it a very comfortable environment.
