Ok, so I went to a job fair and met the first line manager for the territory and had a brief interview with him. We set a tentative follow up time to meet for the first real interview then. I came for the first real interview and it was for real. They do not play around and YOU BETTER STUDY THE COMPANY AND ITS HISTORY! I graduated onto a phone interview with the district manager and that was even harder. They do not play around and they surprise you with questions out of left field to see how you think on your feet. I thought this was the last interview and then I went on to another interview with the final boss. The VP of the region. I found him to be a very pleasant person who was very detailed in his questions and wanted solid answers. I did well during the interview and went on to meet with HR. When I walked in to meet HR they kind of wanted to do a rushed interview and it went by fast, eventually everything was completed and they did a background check. That was passed and I am getting ready to start working.
Advice: Study the company, BE A COMPETITIVE PERSON, IF YOU ARE NOT COMPETITIVE GET OUT OF SALES. ACTUALLY, STAY IN SALES IT MAKES MY NUMBERS LOOK BETTER. Oh and really want the job. Dont beg for it or anything, but show your passion for sales, competition, and a desire to do greater things in your life. If you dont have these qualities go become a desk jockey.
