I applied online and was contacted within 3 days of applying. I was given an impromptu interview over the phone. Than I was asked to drive 2 hours one way for the first interview. I was kind of put off by that due to the fact I applied for a position in a completely different state. However I didn't realize all the interviews would require me to keep traveling this far. After that they asked me to come for another interview in the same location. Than I was asked to come for a third interview even further away from where the first two interviews took place. I was interviewed by a "director" who seemed as if he really didn't want to be there in the first place and had no intentions of hiring me before I even said anything. He asked a lot of irrelevant questions such as"how did you pay for college" and "what did you win at in college". If anyone can explain how those questions determine how well I would do as a sales person please let me know. Anyway after I was finished with him I spoke to another manager who seemed to like what I had to say and said I was giving great answers. The next day I got the infamous "we don't want you email." I have no problem with not getting a position, however I feel they had no regard for my time. Also it was like I was already working for them without getting paid because of how much time this interview process took. So it left a bad taste in my mouth and gave me the impression that for all their talk of taking care of their employees, is all it is just talk.
