I applied online. I interviewed at Citadel Securities
Interview
Quant related technical phone interview, asked few probability/statistics questions, then there was a coding part as well. I was in a terrible shape during the interview, so the interview went quite rough. Also the interviewer had a strong Chinese accent, it was very hard to understand what he was saying.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Three random variables X, Y, Z are such that corr(X, Y) = corr(Y, Z) = corr(Z, X) = r. Give an upper and lower bound for r.
I interviewed at Citadel Securities (New York, NY)
Interview
A few questions on markets and regression, some behavioral fit questions, and a question on sorting algorithms and the best way to implement them. Not too difficult but expect to be highly group dependent
First round had three interviews with some chat about my research and some brainteasers. Passed two out of three. Second round had some programming and econometrics questions. Overall, seemed fair.
