I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Citi (New York, NY) in Dec 2022
Interview
Contacted via recruiter who asked basic questions, including salary expectations and tell me about yourself. Passed on to the Hiring Manager several days later. Interview was very conversational and informative. Hiring Manager wanted me to meet the other SEA's so I was scheduled and met them all individually via video conference. Again, very conversational and informative. Sounded like I was on board. Then I had one more person to meet, the Executive but he was out of the country. This job was mine. I was sure of it. Did not hear back for a week plus. Followed with recruiter who said my interview was very good and I had glowing reviews. About 3 weeks later, I got a rejection email.
Almost two years later, same exact job appeared. Applied. Rejected off the bat. Glassdoor wants me to rate the experience Neg or Pos. The walk was positive, the ending was negative, hence the overall exp was neg.

I got a screen call from the recruiter. Actually, I have interviewed with Citibank more than once and it's the same process. Recruiter calls for a screen. Then, you meet with either the team or the assistants. Each and every time, I feel like I am wasting my time. They look and act bored and encourage you to keep applying as this particular role may not be a good fit.
It's wasting the applicants ' time what you have someone else in mind but you just agree to interview just because.
