My interview process moved fast with both vps in two rounds. Their svp is met who was a foreigner coming over which she was the 3rd round. She was very unprepared and even though she was unprepared I took my time
time to explain to her my whole history. She brought up duties that was not discussed with me with neither vps. I believe I would have been immediately hired if it weren't for her and being as biased as she was. I don't believe she is good leadership overall. Also usually the svp doesn't care to meet with u the overall decision-making is on the vps. Also u did not lile how the vp was flaky, she loved me on the interview and the vp of the team we would have been working with. Then when I emailed to follow up she was very cold which wasn't the case in the interview. The only thing she said was " hr will reach out when we have a decision" which i asked when would they have a date of when they would have a decision. So I reached out to the recruiter who ghosted me even though I know she read both emails! Instead of being a woman of moral you decide not to say anything but yet my app was still in business review but the post closed which was suppose to close in july! I wasn't even sent an email to say we chose someone else! And yes I believe they were bias fue to my skin color as well and having a woman of color in a higher position! Had i been another color u believe it would have went differently. This is a constant problem in Citigroup at getzville very white dominant and hard to receive higher positions no matter how good of a fit you are if you aren't the right color your discriminated against
