I applied online. I interviewed at ClickUp in Nov 2025
Interview
The process took approximately 5 weeks, starting with HR, followed by a round with a hiring manager.
Then came 2 technical rounds (live coding and system design), and a culture interview in the end.
The live coding round was about processing a stream of events. The key here was to ask a lot of clarifying questions.
In system design, I was asked to architect a new service, integrating with existing ones, focusing on how to decouple systems with completely different performance requirements.
Everything went smoothly throughout the process. I was well informed, and everyone was helpful.

doc event problem, process the events in order to update the document, in a signal code pad. has a lot of follow ups, but it's still relative easy. Just the phone interview yet.

If you're reading this, please avoid applying to this company at all cost.
The worst interview process after 30 years in the field, the interviewer was clearly racist.
Any company wanting you to do a leecode in 2026 is garbage.
