      Product Manager Interview

      Mar 30, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Dallas, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Cloudera (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2021

      Interview

horrible interview process. Ask the candidate to sign NDA and then they try to ask all kinds of company secrets. It's as if the purpose of the call was not to get a candidate, but to fish competitor trade secrets. This company is not going anywhere and their stock is reflecting that. The interviewer was condescending and had nothing smart to ask, but know more about my company's practices. Thankfully i dodged most of these questions, as i never really cared about joining zero ethics companies like this anyways. Good thing is, this interview taught me to appreciate my company even more.

      Product Manager Interview

      Feb 22, 2011
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Palo Alto, CA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Cloudera (Palo Alto, CA) in Nov 2010

      Interview

      - After an initial application (twice over a month) through an online website, I received a reply from the hiring manager in about 10-15 days. - The hiring manager set up a time to have a phone interview which was then accepted by both of us. - The process followed was to discuss over the phone and then invite to the office if it goes to the next round - Questions related to my background, type of work done and methodology followed for the work were discussed. The interviewer did push back on my logic a few times to probe further on how I worked. - After receiving no offer from them, I asked for feedback which the interviewer gave candidly and politely enough which I really appreciate.
