CoStar Group interview questions

very quick. received an email from HR 2 days after applying online. They originally sent me an interview survey but contacted me by phone before I had a chance to fill it out (less than 6hrs). Phone interview with a recruiter that lasted 15mins. Completely about personality, comfort on the phone and basic questions about why I was interested in commercial real estate and CoStar in particular. I was invited to an in person interview for the following week. In person interview consisted of speaking with a "researcher" and watching him do his job. I must say he wasn't very enthusiastic about the position or CoStar. After talking to him for 20mins I knew that I didnt want the position. Then i spoke with a manager (she had been with the company for 10 years). She asked me questions directly off of a questionnaire (the same one they sent me the week before) and wrote down my responses as I watch. Then i met with her boss (whom had worked there for only 2 weeks). She asked me the same exact questions that the first interviewer did and copied my answers down next to my original responses. i got an offer within 24hrs

I first heard about CoStar from an employee referral. Soon after I submitted my application online, I was told I would be scheduled for a phone interview later that week. The phone intervew only lasted 10-15 minutes, but it was question after question and it appeared the interviewer was used to conducting these multiple times a day, every day. But at the end of the phone interview, I was told I would be set up for an in person interview early next week. I had my in person interview at the I Street office in NW Washington, DC. I was told I would be meeting with the research director and then the head of the research dept, but with little explanation I ended up only meeting with the director and then shadowing a recent hire. I thought the interview went well, but then I was literally shown the door and never received an offer. Overall, I was not very satisfied with the level of professionalism shown through the interview process.
