The interview had multiple stages and it was a typical process with 2 technical sessions, one with Cognizant employees and another with client representatives. The difficulty was medium with really generic questions but also typical ones.

It began with an initial recruiter screening where we discussed my background, experience with DevOps practices, and alignment with the role. This was followed by one or more technical interviews that focused on areas such as cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, infrastructure as code, and system design. During these rounds, I was asked to explain real-world scenarios, troubleshooting approaches, and the architectural decisions I’ve made in previous projects. There were also discussions around coding practices, automation, and operational reliability
Two rounds of interview both over the zoom. Got the confirmation within a week.
Interview started little early than scheduled. Overall experience was positive. The interview was little difficult to handle.
