Got a cold call about the position. After some preliminary discussion, was told the IBM hiring manager would contact me for phone interview. Heard from him immediately, and phone interview lasted about half an hour. Very basic questions. Desperately needed a project manager and was content with proven track record of experience and education. 5+ years and PMP were sufficient. Hired me at the interview. Drug screen and background check were done within a few a days and I reported for my first day about a week later.

I had a highly disappointing experience with a recruiter from Collabera. The initial reach out was rushed; they scheduled a call via my CV email for just an hour later. They even messaged me specifically to "make sure I join" the call, implying my punctuality was a priority. I prepared and joined on time, but the recruiter never showed up. I followed up via both LinkedIn and email to see if there was a scheduling conflict, but I was completely ghosted. To be pressured into a call only for the recruiter to ignore it, and then ignore my follow-up is incredibly rude and inconsiderate of a candidate's time and emotional energy. This experience reflects very poorly on Collabera’s internal standards and their respect for the people they are trying to recruit.
