I was initially contacted by a recruiter for Collabera regarding a HR Business Partner Role I had applied for. He seemed to move pretty fast through the phone screening process and everything was moving faster than a normal interview/phone screen rate. I remember feeling very overwhelmed with how quickly he wanted me to move on to the next step (but hey, I wasn't complaining at that point)! He asked if I could talk to another HR Manager. He followed up with an email the same day and then when I didn't respond right away, he called my phone. They were definitely in some sort of a rush to hire. I honestly had to really struggle to understand what this HR Manager was asking me on his phone interview with me because his accent was very thick. I tried to answer the questions without sounding too rude and having him repeat the question every single time but it was tough!! I really did not understand half the things he was saying. After this interview, I had to have another phone interview with the VP of HR located in Bangalore, India. I did this interview at 9pm on a Sunday to accommodate for the time difference in India. Her accent was better but she seemed to lack energy. After this interview, I completely stopped having ANY communication with Collabera. I received no email, no phone call or contact from anyone there, even to tell me "Thank you for interviewing but we have decided to move forward with other candidates". I thought that was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful.
