I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Comcast in Oct 2007
Interview
Group Meeting, Individual interview with a Supervisor, Computer testf for skills, education and personality, background check and drug test. Meet individually w/ HR. Offered position. The people seemed very friendly. Apparently, Comcast regularly needs to hire 50 people to replace the flow of people leaving the company. A commission is offered but they continually chage the goals so it is near impossible to reach the moving arget they set. Additionally, there is almost no support for customer service issues from the management.

Question 1
How to you respond to a prospect who tells you your price is too high?
It was quick and easy. I was interviewed by two managers. One manager was observing and the other was asking me questions. They were very nice people. At the end of the interview I was offered the job.
It was quick and easy not much to say in a negative light I actually really enjoyed my experience. I never really enjoyed these types of questions until I interviewed with them.

Question 1
Tell me about a time where you had to go above and beyond
My interview with comcast was very easy going and thorough. The interview felt very much like a back and forth conversation and less of a Q&A typical interview. I also found the interviewer to be very knowledgeable and the conversation was very informative.
