      Talent Acquisition Interview

      Dec 29, 2010
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Comcast in Jul 2010

      Interview

The interview process was lengthy however extremely organized. I was contacted by a Recruiter who did a phone screen to ensure I possessed the skills and qualifications for the opportunity. The next step was an hour long phone Behavioral Interview. Within three days of the phone interview I was contacted and scheduled for a face-to-face at the corporate office with the Director. The final step was a panel interview which consisted of a Manager and two potential direct reports. Overall the experience was positive and everyone was extremely professional and seemed to be committed to their roles.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Comcast in Dec 2022

      Interview

I applied through LinkedIn, and the overall process had multiple time gaps with no updates on where the process was at with emails going unanswered. Over a month after applying I was finally scheduled for a Microsoft Teams interview with a hiring manager. I reached back out to the recruiter to ask where I could find the job description, as it was completely removed from LinkedIn, the company website and job portal by this time from. She never responded, and I was unable to review it again after initially applying a month prior. During the interview, one of the first things he said was how lucky I was to make it that far, and that I must’ve done something right. Though the interview did feel more casual (which I prefer), my answers were consistently interrupted while the interviewer would talk about himself or his own experience. Near the end I only got to answer one of my questions I had prepared before the interview was concluded. After the interview I ultimately decided the team would not be a great fit, and did not plan to move forward with any offers if received. I finally got feedback about two weeks after the shared estimated date stating I was not selected to move forward.
