First round technical discussion.
Had a teams call scheduled for an hour. The interviewer didn't turned on his video and asked me to share the screen and turn on the video. This made the interaction feel impersonal.
Asked some questions on LinkedList, Interfaces, and most of the questions on data base queries. The interviewer was mostly focused on syntax level knowledge.
The perception that I got after taking the interview was that this is not the kind of company I would like to join.
Based on the interview experience, I did not get a positive impression of the company. The technical assessment methods seemed outdated, focusing excessively on rote memorization rather than evaluating a candidate’s overall competencies and problem-solving skills.
