Was approached by a recruitment consultant who asked basic technical questions on Windows, Networking, SAN Storage, and VMWare ( about 2-3 questions from each area ) and a brief of my previous experience. Then scheduled a face-to-face interview with the agency first, mainly a detailed discussion around the work history and some more basic technical questions starting where she left off on the phone.
Filled up a form for CommVault which asked some technical and four behavioral questions around CommVault values ( basically examples from the past which will help to be efficient in the new role ).
This form was reviewed by CommVault team and got a response through the consultant in 3-4 days that there will be a technical phone screen interview. This was a very detailed discussion to gauge the areas of my expertise and it went fairly well. Would advise the aspiring candidates to understand all the technologies they work with in full details. Things like RAID comparison, VMWare snapshots, CPU Architectures.
Received a call from the consultant a week later that my application was not successful because of less expertise in Windows, which is correct because I am a Unix system admin : )
