Interview
I saw the job posting on LinkedIn and immediately applied on the Compass website, then messaged the recruiter directly on LinkedIn to follow up personally. The recruiter reached out shortly after and we scheduled a quick phone call to discuss general information about the role and my background. The recruiter was so friendly and helpful, and we scheduled a follow up with another HR member. After that, I had 1:1 video calls with 4 members of the team I would be working directly with, including my manager and the level above him. All of those meetings were a little overwhelming back to back, but honestly it was great to meet so many people in advance to really get to know the company, culture and nature of the work. The process went smoothly and didn’t feel like an interrogation, like some interviews can come across as. It was clear how much they really cared about hiring the right person who would be happy and thrive in the company. The recruiter maintained direct contact throughout the process and I really appreciated his transparency. A week after my last interview, I was offered the role and accepted!
