Process was straightforward. I applied online and one month later, I was contacted for a phone interview. Completed the phone interview and two days later, was advanced to the next step and asked to do a presentation of a topic related to the job. That was in December and I still have not heard a yay or nay from Con Edison and the position was reposted after I interviewed. I followed up almost a month after the interview and got a disingenuous response. Con Edison, it's not ok to ghost applicants. It's also not ok to ask them to do a presentation and you don't have the courtesy to be transparent with applicants. While we are under the Great Resignation, it's not ok to keep applicants waiting, two months later with no response. While I can infer at this point that it's a no, you have an obligation to be communicative and not ask applicants to put in time to prepare for an interview by way of a presentation and don't follow up. It's disgusting and for this reason, I'm not interested working for a company that behaves this way.
