I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Condé Nast (New York, NY) in Mar 2013
Interview
I received this interview through mutual connections. It was a pretty straightforward interview, although I was surprised to meet two more team members in addition to the one I was in communication with. I was asked general questions regarding my education and experience, nothing new. Obviously, I was asked about my knowledge about the publication as well-- so do your research!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked about if I could name an editor who could best fit the aesthetic of the magazine.
There was one screening interview with an HR representative, and then one interview with a hiring manager. Neither one was more than 30 minutes. The HR representative called to offer the job.
Application process was pretty simple. First stage was the application, then you had a video task. Then a final interview. Advice would be to really research the company e.g recent news and understand the company values.
