I honestly just wanted to get off my chest the worst interview I've ever had! This was my first face-to-face interview with Confluent, after having great talks with a couple other people. An interviewer with Confluent UK agreed to interview me on short notice in the London office. He immediately plopped down in his chair and slouched to one side, then lethargically began asking me a few technical questions. I counted at least three yawns, full-mouthed and unabashed. Look, maybe he wrote me off before the interview started (not sure how--he clearly hadn't read my resume). But that is no reason for such a disrespectful display. All in all it was a stunning surprise from such a well regarded company. Everyone else in the process was stellar! It's frustrating when your hard work and preparation is submarined by one individual.
