I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ConnectWise (New York, NY)
Interview
Applied months ago, finally got a nice email (seemed casual) about taking the next steps in the interview process. They required that I take an online aptitude test. You have 6 sections, like single digit math problem, then onto decimal math problem, then fraction problems. Then you move on to more special questions. “Looking at this stack of blocks, how many blocks are touching it from all sides” kinda of questions. Then you move on to all kinds of weird logic questions like “a>=c=>b” then you have to choose true or false for questions like “b is greater than a” but they mix up symbols so it gets confusing. Some symbols mean “greater but not by 50” and it got difficult. I’m an awful test taker. So I don’t know how I did. I didn’t get an offer, so that’s a bad sign. Disappointing considering how dumb it made me feel right after getting my bachelors degree out of college.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Lots of basic aptitude and mathematics test questions, no calculator allowed on math portions either.
I applied online. I interviewed at ConnectWise (Tampa, FL) in Dec 2018
Interview
I had a telephone interview composing of a few technical questions, and some questions about projects I did for school.
A week later, I was called in for an on-site interview at their Tampa location. I was mainly asked about my ability to work with other people, the kinds of technologies I have experience with, and what sort of work I like doing, and then I was asked a couple of simple coding problems on the whiteboard. Afterward, the main person asking questions showed me around the office. It was a beautiful building and office, and the people were nice and pleasant during the interview.
Unfortunately, I was soon after informed that a hiring freeze was put in effect the week of my second interview. The next day, I received an automated rejection email.
How did you coordinate with other people when working on a project with someone? How did you decide who did what? How did you handle when someone didn't follow through?
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at ConnectWise
Interview
The interview started with a brief introduction to yourself. Then the interviewers asked technical questions that were related to programming, and operating systems. Then it was followed by a whiteboard exercise.
