You need to request audition via email and there will be some questions; mostly regarding your training and what you have done since your training....
When you are assigned an audition, you will be waiting in studio lobby till you are called in...
Once you are called in, there will be a number of Corepower Studio Managers &, perhaps, some area mangers...
They will ask you questions regarding your training, what you have done since your training, and other questions; they are just trying to get you to open up and relax...
Eventually, they will request that you perform a sequence from the yoga discipline you are auditioning for...
IMHO, here's some advice, when you audition:
-They REALLY DO want you to pass! They need more instructors!
-Assume your audition yogis know the sequence; if you are assigned SunB; don't waste time extensively cuing down dog or chattaranga or any other pose that you need to assume was covered.
-Keep it simple, stick to the CPY Cue Formula of Breath, Posture, Cue (Action Verb, Body Part, Direction).
-Smile, make eye contact, call out names...
-Make sure you are on the side of the room your yogis will be facing in standing poses such as Triangle & Warrior 2
AND HERE IS MY BIGGEST ADVICE OF ALL:
Cue from "your practice!"
Parroting what other instructors say, or what you learn in Teacher Training, or memorize from your training manual is not you!
Parroting will trip you up at the audition and make you look and feel more confident...
If you share the cues that relate to "you"; you will sound confident and nail the audition!
