Interview
Previous and current interns plus interviewer. Very casual so snappy casual attire at most. Very friendly from my perspective so being yourself actually is preferred. I highly recommend that you also at least know the basics of what the company does.
Two zoom calls with the department you applied for. Walking through resume and asking about projects or past internships. behavioral questions on why corning and why this field. Last round with your future potential mentor.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Corning (Painted Post, NY) in Sep 2024
Interview
It was good overall, but the hiring manager took about 6 weeks to get back to me on whether or not I got the position. I applied for like 30 positions over two years and got the one, so it was kind of stressful.
