I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Corning
Interview
I was recruited by a headhunter as a good match for the position. From Friday to the following Friday I had nine interviews that all went exceedingly well. I thought that was excessive but since all seemed to be going well, I was willing to accommodate. About 2/3rds through the process, I had an an interview with another company and they made me an offer. I informed Corning of the offer and the date I needed to reply by. My 9th interview was with HR to determine my interest and since everything went well I was anticipating an offer. HR requested I ask for more time from the other company to respond to their offer which I thought was rude and inconsiderate since I had been through 8 other interviews in the span of a week. What more did they need? If they were willing to treat a candidate like that I couldn't imagine being ban employee so I withdrew my candidacy and accepted the offer from the other company.
