I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Costco Wholesale (Rockwall, TX) in Feb 2013
Interview
A few days after I applied, I received a call from the HR department to schedule an interview with a front end manager. The first interview was with a lower level manager who asked me a number of scripted questions. I thought carefully before answering her questions, and she gave me time to organize my thoughts. A few days later, I received another call telling me I did well and scheduled another interview with an assistant warehouse general manager. He asked me more pointed questions about my personality and other questions where I would contend why I was the right candidate rather than simply relay information about previous work experience. Immediately after the second interview, which was considerably shorter, I followed the manager to the office and asked him if I had the job. He jokingly said it depended upon the results of an oral swab drug test. After waiting for the test to show negative (about five minutes later), he told me the date for the orientation and gave me a packet telling me what to bring.

Question 1
What experience do you have that qualifies you to work here?
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Costco Wholesale in May 2026
Interview
Three rounds of interviews. If you're lucky, you'll do two rounds because two managers in the room are two interviews. Then the final interview is with the warehouse manager. Be on time; I cannot stress that enough, as Costco is a very time-sensitive type of position. You only have a three-minute grace period to clock in at your normal hours. Emphasize that you are very prompt and are ready to work through the probation period.
