I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Couchbase in Sep 2015
Interview
This was one of the most thought out and polished sales interviews I have ever been on. The itinerary was on the money; the team was well prepared and we had a very active and thorough interview with leaders and cross function team members. The transparency was fantastic and the team was focused and together on their drive to be the best they could be. It was a refreshing change and it reminded me of some of the great companies I worked for in the past.
Straightforward process. I met with the recruiter first for a thirty minute phone screen, then the hiring manager for 45 minutes, and 3 additional colleagues before final decision was made.
I interviewed at Couchbase (Altadena, CA) in Jun 2020
Interview
I have 9 years of Sales Experience. 3 of those years directly related to the position I applied for with Couchbase. But within a hour I received notification that they weren’t moving forward with my application (no reason listed) I hope it’s not because I’m a beautiful black women!!
The following day I received another email notifying me that they weren’t moving forward with my application. I responded and then received a third!
Terrible way to treat anyone. Thanks a lot.
