Terrible terrible terrible recruiting, and bad image on the company as a whole. This was by far the worst experience I've had in my many years in the tech industry. After the initial phone screen, the recruiter went out of her way to say she will follow up in the week to come. I waited almost 2 weeks later, and my professional follow up emails all went unanswered, no response, no communicantion, no transparency in the entire process. Broken promises of follow up, and absolutely no professionalism. Update: almost after almost 5 weeks after the initial call, I receive a generic auto reject stating nothing. There is no excuse for the lack of professionalism, if I can receive updates from other recruiters at other companies, then there is no excuse for this type of behavior. Recruiter and the recruiting department need some serious training on communication skills and professionalism, that is part of your job.
