The company moves pretty quickly. Instead of a traditional phone call with the manager, I met with the manager in person for the first round. I wasn't aware of what to expect but was thrown a curve ball since the manager asked a few technical questions when I didn't expect it to be technical. After the technical questions, the manager gave me an overview of the company.
After a bit, I was invited back for a second round of on-site. I met with 3 different engineers from different teams. Each asked different types of questions, and were friendly during interaction.
The recruiter was communicative throughout the process, and updated me on the progress on their end afterwards. I felt it was done very professionally and transparently.
Before a mutual decision was made, they were open to having me come on-site to get a one-on-one with the hiring manager to go over any questions that I had, where other companies tend to not make time for me when I made the same request. I felt that it spoke a lot of the culture of the company on their emphasis on the people as a resource, and definitely helped my decision on joining the team in the end.
