I had interviewed for a position with Cox Automotive. The process consisted of a quick phone screen with the recruiter. I then had two phone interviews with the hiring manager and a team member. After that, I was invited onsite to meet with some more team members. This was fine. Then things went awry - I had another onsite scheduled. A coordinator called me to say that someone was not available. She pushed out the onsite a few weeks (!). That is strike 1. The day before the second onsite, she emailed me and called me - the person I was supposed to meet with was taken off the meeting. It had turned into a skype interview instead of an onsite. During the interview, I got a frantic call from the coordinator asking why I hadn't shown up in person (strike 2). After all the phone calls, all the rounds of hoops, etc, I never heard back from the recruiter. I had to follow up a few times to finally get a response. After investing so much time in the interview process, I would expect some sort of rejection.
