Cox Communications Customer Service Representative CSR interview questions

the interview questions were easy and I answered them well. I work in the communications field. have alot of experience with software and hardware. also an electronics and sales background as well as customer support and service through the phone and online. I have about 5plush years of experience. was told we would move forward from the interview process and I would hear from someone in a week. I get an email in the middle of the interview saying I was denied. This was my 3rd interview with cox communications and felt a bit down during the interview. How could you deny someone so quickly and tell them heartlessly that you are moving forward with the process? so wrong.

I applied online and had two subsequent interviews about a week apart. Very informal (mostly due to the pandemic pushing everything online) and not very technical. We spoke about a couple things on my resume and any relevant past experiences.
