      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cox Communications in Nov 2008

      Interview

All Cox Communications interviews consist of a panel interview with at least 2 interviewers. All questions come from an interview question bank and are situational. Interviewees are expected to answer in the STAR format (Situation, task, action and result). If applying for a front line (call center) position, questions will surround customer service, communication, quality, troubleshooting, teamwork, etc. A sample question is, "Tell me a time you had to partner with someone else to achieve a common goal." If applying for a supervisor position, questions will consist of the same as a front line employee but will also include questions regarding motivating and developing employees, business acumen and relationship building.
